My new SF city guide book arrived today and I'm having far too much fun with it. I really need to get to bed.
[OMG, Lindsay Lohan looks so doped up and spacey in the banner ad next to my blogging entry box. Yikes!]
Anyways, it's my new favorite book. I look forward to filling it up with my favorite city. The plan is mostly to loan it to visiting friends and family and make sure they give it back before leaving. It'll probly be a bit easier than covering a map with post-its every time someone comes to visit. Also: Filling a blank book is fun!

Oh well. Maybe the blue face paint confused the software. I'll gladly take a young Cybill Sheperd and Neil Armstrong, though.

This is my first forray into false lashes. I bought these at the fab Sephora. They're made of feathers!
I, of course, practiced with some simple, naturalistic lashes from Walgreens. Those weren't too troublesome. The feathers took more effort. The first time I tried to glue 'em down, I thought, Wow, these are heavy. Wait, I've just glued my eyelids together. Too much glue can be bad.
Now I don't have to figure that out this Saturday before the party Rika invited me to. Of course, to see anything, I have to keep my eyes pretty wide open. But they are in place of an eye mask, and those things always impede one's sight so that's reasonable.
